After some false facade starts covered and uncovered by the intrepid crew at Wired New York, today finds some real action at the Frank Gehry-designed Beekman Tower downtown: those snazzy metal panels have started going up. Look to the flat south facade to find the real panelization, which includes some very reflective glass and one very large protuberance. Okay, it's not much, but it's something.
