High Line Construction Chronicles: Windows Opened!

New, 12 comments

High Line construction proceeds apace! (Kinda.) This morning the High Line lost about 3.5 tons of original beam plates to create the large windows at 17th Street that make up the 10th Avenue Square, revealed in renderings last summer. Park visitors up top will be able to take in a unique uninterrupted vista up the avenue, while floating directly over it. Pedestrians below will be able to see how much fun they're missing.
