CurbedWire: Bouwerie Lane Theater Listing on Hiatus, Trump Place Vacancies Response

New, 33 comments

BOWERY?We noticed that a listing for the ground-floor commercial space in the iconic Bouwerie Lane Theater at Bowery and Bond Street has popped up with brokerage Massey Knakal for $7.85 million. Then, we noticed the $36 residential megalisting for the space above has vanished from the Corcoran website. We asked developer Adam Gordon to comment: "The residential was on the market briefly with the entire building offered to a few select buyers. We did not conclude a deal with any of these parties and the listing was taken off the system. The residential is now nearing completion. When the three residential units are complete in a few months they will be listed for sale with Robby Browne of Corcoran." Bite-sized Bouwerie pieces may work a little better in this climate, no? UPPER WEST SIDE?Earlier this week, a tipster wrote in with some speculation that rental buildings at Trump Place along Riverside Drive were hovering around 75% occupancy. An executive at property owner Equity Residential begs to differ: "That is absolutely untrue. All three of those buildings have occupancies in the low to mid 90s." [CurbedWire Inbox]
