We've had a look at East River Park's new faux-snow-topped monument to the extreme from many different angles, but Gothamist has the money shots from the top of Mt. Red Bull. The 90-foot-tall snowboarding jump?built with shipping containers!?will finally see some high-flying action tonight, then will be the site of the city's Winter Jam on Saturday afternoon. The rumor that the public would get a shot on the ramp in the near future was "all but confirmed" to Gothamist, but it'll be some sort of altered (less deadly?) version.
