Longtime New York Post real estate columnist Braden Keil died last night after a long battle with melanoma. Readers who remember the heyday of his real estate gossip tidbits noted a markedly slower pace for Keil as he struggled with the disease, but he filed right up until the end, working with his wife to pen last week's column on Hamptons auctions. Braden was one of the best—we'll never forget his praise for Curbed in his column after we'd been in existence for, oh, about three weeks. He will be missed. [Gawker]
