When Citigroup shelled out $400 million for the Citi Field endorsement deal, the MTA was hoping the bank would throw some cash its way to rename the 7-train subway stop at the Mets' new ballpark, but alas, that whole collapse/bailout thing means that's not to be. Instead, the MTA has announced that the station will be rechristened Mets/Willets Point, and the Long Island Rail Road stop will get the same treatment. [NYT]
