When they say that this penthouse "is situated atop" a pre-war building on Central Park North, they mean it. Look at that thing sitting there atop. Commenters #2 & #3 (two of our favorites) zeroed in on the $1.5 million price tag, with #3 adding this handy pyschographic study of who might live there: "This isn't a bad home for the right buyer - probably someone with roots in the neighborhood or who works at Columbia. The bedrooms are a bit mean and it's a shame the windows are so high but a young family with 2 - 3 kids could actually live here quite happily."
