CityFile brings word that financier and all-around real estate superhero Daniel Loeb has unloaded his carriage house at 7 MacDougal Alley, a cloistered coven of joy located just north of Washington Square Park. Art gallery director Gordon Veneklasen snapped up the place for $5.5 million, south of Loeb's previous $7.85 million asking. All of which gives us a good excuse to run a photogallery of the place; do watch your drool.
