First Look at Fordham's Expanded Lincoln Center Campus

The design of Fordham University's Lincoln Center Fortress of Solitude campus expansion plan?which recently gained support in a modified version after getting hammered by neighbors?has been kept largely under wraps. But finally, the Architect's Newspaper indulges us with a pair of renderings, including the one above of the proposed law school building. The new plan widens the interior garden access, makes some great gestures to neighboring Lincoln Center and includes some retail to make Fordham a more urbane neighbor. But the street view along Amsterdam Avenue (seen after the jump) still looks a little fortress-y.
