FiDi Building Goes Into Witness Protection

Gothamist has photos of a 175 Water Street suddenly stripped of any visible indicators of its inhabitant, AIG. The building had "American International Group" in large letters over its entrance and "AIG" eteched in its glass front doors, but now nothing, nada. According to the Post, the property-casualty offices of AIG are undergoing a name change to AIU Holdings, hence the decision to remove the AIG branding. Plus, all that populist rage was probably scaring away the SeamlessWeb delivery guys. [Gothamist]
