Equity Residential, which owns 47 apartment buildings in the NYC metro area, has joined the parade of those cutting rents across the board. Crain's reports the biggest cuts have been at the Trump Place buildings on the Upper West Side, "where rents fell by an average of 15.5% at 1,325 units. The biggest drops were for studio apartments, where rents were lowered by 19%." Tenants and prospectives at Trump Place or elsewhere, do email us to share what kind of deals you're seeing out there.
