A tipster sends along this shot looking from the Thompson LES Hotel (at Houston and Allen) towards the downtown skyline—and the surprisingly, why-hello-there, in-your-face! 38 Delancey. When last we left the "luxury" condo development, it was going to grow to 16 stories (click through for rendering), but it seems we're now looking at 20 stories, including 54 condos atop three floors of commercial space. Completion was scheduled for spring 2009, but that looks, uhm, unlikely, and the official website is kaput; anyone got the scoop on the current schedule and plan here?
