This morning we mentioned that a judge has dismissed the lawsuit against the city over a new restaurant in the north end of Union Square, an element of the renovation that has caused controversy, and Globe St. has a bit of victorious party's statement: "We are also happy that the court has allowed the parks department to move ahead with its plans to allow for the operation of a restaurant concession in Union Square Park, and that the court has recognized that a restaurant concession would be consistent with public purposes."
