The Port Authority always gets the last laugh, friends: "The long-delayed, over-budget rebuilding of ground zero may be one of New York City's few reliable sources of construction jobs and revenue over the next several years. That's according to a study by the World Trade Center site's owners. It projects over 26,000 new jobs and $3.7 billion will be created from construction at the site through 2016."
