Though the building is not yet endangered, the campaign to preserve the Eleventh Avenue powerhouse built in 1904 with a McKim, Mead & White facade is gaining steam (and we're not talking the stuff Con Ed is making inside). The landmarking effort now has a website with a petition to save the block-long building at 58th Street, and New York gives the campaign a push with some publicity this week.
