MEPA?Another interesting creation (other than Renzo's Whitney) presented at this past weekend's Design '09 series of events: a mural of The Standard, made up of tiny pictures of...stuff. According to our Curbed Correspondent, the thumbnail photos are "many smaller images of the Standard and the surrounding area," but we don't recognize much in the detail photo (seen after the jump). G-TRAIN?Just in time for the summer concert season, it will soon be possible to get to Williamsburg from Park Slope! (Via subway.) According to a memo from the office of Assemblyman Joe Lentol, the extension of the forlorn G-Train from the Smith-9th Street station to the Church Avenue station (that's five additional stops!) will begin on July 5th and carry on until 2013, with an option to make the move permanent. Huzzah! [CurbedWire Inbox]

WEST CHELSEA?On Monday, June 15, Friends of the High Line will hold a benefit, including a party on the High Line itself called, er, First Party on the High Line. However, the party?tickets start at $1,000 (dinner included! All proceeds go to High Line upkeep!), is technically not the first party on the High Line?a title claimed by Calvin Klein. The park is still on track for a June debut. [CurbedWire Inbox]
