FIDI?Following up on the Post's renderings reveal of the Port Authority's desired plan to build the lower floors of the World Trade Center's Tower 2 and Tower 3 and fill in the skyscrapers at a date TBD, a Curbed reader wrties: "Did anyone point out that the Port’s new rendering of the Tower 2 stump is actually just an original Norman Foster rendering of tower 2 except with the tower lopped off? Same generic people. Same foliage. Wonder how long their team worked on that new design? I don’t know what’s more egregious – the disregard for the basics of engineering, the lack of originality or the blatant copyright infringement. Not sure whose T3 rendering they took." Meow! Though the closest Foster rendering we could find on the official World Trade Center, seen above, isn't an identical match. [CurbedWire Inbox]
