Controversial Sunset Park development of yore 420 42nd Street is all grown up, Brownstoner reports, with six stories (after the developer backed off of building 12) and 31 units?11 of which have closed mostly in the $300Ks. The building's legacy is bigger than just adding condos to the 'hood, however: "The capitulation was a win for residents pushing for contextuality but it also gave teeth to community members who had long pushed for a rezoning of the neighborhood—a rezoning that is now more or less a given."
