Tribeca Open House Gets Wet

New, 4 comments

78-80 Leonard Street are known as the Tribeca buildings where that crazy boulder-like rooftop addition is in the works, but the buildings themselves are undergoing conversion from rentals to condos (dubbed Tribeca Lofts) and are now for sale, and Downtowny dropped by for a look: "We can choose to buy units 'As Is' (abandoned) or 'Finished' (around $300k more). As you can see from the photo of the leaky ceiling (yes that's a garbage can collecting rain water) above, the units are in various states of repair." Well, what do you expect for over a million bucks? [Downtowny]
