PriceSpotter Big Reveal: High Above the Land of Lincoln

New, 4 comments

And now, the results of yesterday's PriceSpotter asking price guessing game...

Location: 160 West 66th Street #42ABG
Asking: $6,500,000

Our lust for life in Lincoln Center brought us to this four-bedroom condo at 160 West 66th Street, so close to the action that the building is also known as 3 Lincoln Center. Our PriceSpotters quickly caught on to the fact this is a combination (the two kitchens on the floorplan might have had something to do with that), but most guesses were in the $3-$5 million range. Better bump up that price-per-square-foot, because this seller is feeling ambitious. The closest correct answer was commenter justlooking, who said, "I'm going with 6.5-7 million [Ed. note?we hate ranges!] altho. that puts it around 1800 per sqft." A lofty goal, indeed, but the bar was recently lowered. According to the listing, the old asking price was $8.5 million.
