Prince Harry Gone, But Red Hook Still Has Royalty

New, 2 comments

For those looking for something a bit less cookie-cutter in their new condos, to Red Hook we go! There, at King and Richards Streets, lie five "carriage houses" fashioned from an old one-story garage and inspired by the developer's trip to Tuscany. The houses, at 1,000-2,000 square feet, have been on the market for about a yer as construction churned along, but now they're finished and sporting a new moniker: the King Richard Carriage Houses. A bit haughty for the surroundings, but we'll forgive because, hey, the streets are called what they're called. Prices range from $750,000 to $1,150,000, and inside those facades of reclaimed brick lie 16' ceilings and, 'natch, room for carriages.

Brownstoner hit up an open house last week and reported back with a couple of photos. Arrivederci!
