Times architecture critic Nicolai Ouroussoff continues his prolific output of late (yay to Cooper Union, nay to Barclays Center) with a big thumbs-up for the High Line. "I half expected to see Bambi," he says of the gardens, adding that the park is "an invaluable and transformative gift." Meanwhile, the Daily News offers the first High Line backlash story, writing that employees in non-celebrity-backed parks are complaining about the security and resources being pumped into the itty, bitty train trestle.
