Goldman Sachs might be hoping that the various tangled knots at the World Trade Center stay tangled for a little while longer. Bloomberg reports that the firm, which is building its new headquarters on the other side of West Street from the WTC, could earn $160 million if the state doesn't hit certain project benchmarks by December 31, and can recover another $161 million in rent under the terms of its land lease.
