We've checked in on Williamsburg's Metropolitan Green a couple times over the course of its development, if only because the building is a bit hard to miss: In addition to standing out amongst its low-rise neighbors, the eco-friendly Helder Design creation (the firm will occupy the commercial unit below the two apartments) is practically on the BQE. Now that all the plywood has come down at 439 Metropolitan Avenue, we felt it time for a thrilling new round of Rendering/Reality. Fairly spot-on, wouldn't you say? The two apartments, most recently priced at $711,000 and $519,000, were taken off the market about two weeks ago. Maybe buyers just don't see the highway's potential. Decorative trash receptacles, people!
