Another Big-Time Co-op DENIAL

New, 8 comments

Troubles of finding any qualified buyer be damned, the high-profile co-op turndowns continue, this time at 895 Park Avenue. The Observer's Max Abelson reports the 14-room duplex owned by late film producer Charles Evans (bro of Bob) was all set to sell for over $14 million, before the board rejected the buyer, the third such rejection on the apartment since 2007?when the apartment was supposed to sell for just under $25 million. If Charles Evans was still around, he might be a bit unhappy with board resident (and real estate developer) Dan Brodsky. "Maybe they don't want young hedge fund people who made money really fast," a source told Abelson. [NYO; previously]
