Ed Norton told the crowd at the Friends of the High Line benefit, where he was honored for his support of the park, that he only gave the High Line "10-to-one odds at the beginning," Page Six reports. Maybe the long odds were because Norton couldn't imagine anyone wanting to glam up the place. He "went on a rant about how he used to live on [nearby] Horatio Street and smoke weed, and how he remembered the days when 'trannies and truckers' hung out there." [Page 6]
