This week's top dish from Eater, Curbed's restaurant, bar, and nightlife blog...
1) Noho: Daniel Boulud's new DBGB Kitchen & Bar has finally been given a Bowery welcome, in the form of an (acid?) tag on the eatery's front doors. Welcome to the neighborhood, D-Biggity!
2) Lower East Side: Last night an electrical fire broke out at 90 Rivington Street, home to Moby's vegan cafe Teany. A manager said the damage is extensive, and the restaurant hopes to reopen in a few weeks.
3) Midtown: Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter's "approachable" Waverly Inn alternative Monkey Bar has now stopped accepting reservations via phone.
4) Lower East Side: A nasty catfight has broken out over nightclub/restaurant Broadway East, where the recently departed chef has fired back at management that chastised him lacking "the experience or business savvy to know there was a serious disconnect between the food and the scene.” Meow!
