Mayor Bloomberg and developer Larry Silverstein keep taking shots at the Port Authority to get the agency to finance Towers 2 and 3 at the World Trade Center, and it appears that PA Executive Director Chris Ward is a bit tired of being the punching bag. At a forum yesterday, Ward said the Port Authority can't contribute more than the previously-pledged billions to the WTC, and ticked off a list of PA projects that have been canceled due to the recession, including major renovations to LaGuardia airport and the Goethals Bridge. Feisty! [NYO]
