The Related Companies recently stuck a huge supermarket in its shopping center plan for the Bronx's Kingsbridge Armory, which did not sit well with supermarket chain Morton Williams, which has a store across the street. The chain's owners enlisted a $5,000-per-month lobbyist to kill Related's supermarket proposal, and he responded with a detailed political and media strategy focused on "dramatizing" the plight of local supermarkets and minority entrepreneurs. How do we know? He accidentally e-mailed his entire plan to media outlets. Oops. [Runnin' Scared]
