The residents of the 14th Street SRO building left facade-less after a partial building collapse last month are still homeless, not able to live in their old apartments and not wanting to rent new ones (and therefore give up their rent-stabilized privileges). They've filed a lawsuit against their landlord to force him to make the necessary repairs to 150-152 West 14th Street, and they claim the building was intentionally left to deteriorate in order to render it uninhabitable, allowing it to be razed and replaced.
