Peace & Quiet at Manhattan House

While the massive condo conversion of the block-long, multi-towered Manhattan House at 200 East 66th Street still has a ways to go before it can be considered a success, at least one problem has been squashed: the developers and the remaining rental tenants are finally playing nice. Crain's reports on the truce, which included a rent-free month for some tenants, and now only one tenant lawsuit remains active. Meanwhile, asking prices in the building have come down 20%, and 200 units won't be renovated until the 80 move-in ready apartments are sold. [Crain's]
