North Brooklynites making a big stink over the delays in all that promised new park space that was part of the 2005 Williamsburg/Greenpoint waterfront rezoning have a new gripe: the Brooklyn Paper reports that most of the $57 million cut from the Parks Department's construction budget were funds earmarked for the long-delayed Bushwick Inlet Park. The 28-acre waterfront park, once seen as the potential permanent home of the relocated McCarren Pool concerts, was at one time scheduled to partially open this summer. [BK Paper]
