Cooper Square Hotel Comedy

New, 6 comments

Even New York restaurant critic Adam Platt is getting in on the Cooper Square Hotel action. In a review of the hotel's Table 8 restaurant, he writes, "The billowing white glass spire (designed by the architect Carlos Zapata), simultaneously arresting and comically out of place, looks like it was left behind, among the raggedy Bowery brownstones, by a receding glitzy tide." As for his take on the restaurant...yikes, it gets ugly. [NYM]
