The MTA updated Community Board 1 on the World Trade Center's Fulton Street Transit Center last night, and reps said the oculus-topped subway hub is back on track and set for a June 2014 opening. The MTA also provided an update on the Corbin Building at 192 Broadway/11 John Street, the neglected nine-story landmark that is supposed to be restored and turned into an entrance to the hub (plan here). The restoration and addition of first-floor retail space is expected to be done by December 2012. [Broadsheet Daily; previously]
