We know the Bowery has changed when a seemingly random pile of trash is not just ignored and stepped over, but rather, noted by a tipster as shockingly out-of-place and photographed for documentation. On closer examination the debris is actually a makeshift memorial for Downtown artist Dash Snow, who passed away earlier this week. He had a studio in the Lower East Side building, and given the materials he was known to work with, we wouldn't get too close to this tribute.
