One of the most warmly welcomed aspects of the massive Lincoln Center makeover is the revamped Harmony Atrium, the above-ground tunnel shuffling culture-seekers between Broadway and Columbus Avenue that ended up drawing more homeless people than rock-wall climbers. Plans were revealed last summer for a harmonious future filled with falling water and sandwiches, and it's finally happening! Blog My Upper West wandered by the Harmony Atrium and snapped a photo, and the signs of progress are there: scaffolding, cherry pickers and a construction worker with his arms folded. That fall '09 prediction might be a bit off, however.
