East Village: Any Life Left?

Time Out New York this week is dedicated to all things East Village, and the goal is to answer a simple question: "Once, the East Village was edgy, punk rock—the place to be. Then the yuppies, college kids and bridge-and-tunnelers took over. Is there any cool left?" Yeah yeah, not the most unique concept, but this made us guffaw: An interview with an NYU frat boy on his favorite local hangouts, so readers know where to avoid.
