1) Nolita: The big retail tenant at new development 211 Elizabeth (on the corner of Elizabeth and Prince), fashion retailer Vince, has opened at last. And the mannequins are green with envy!
2) Herald Square: It doesn't officially open until this Friday, but the soft-opened JC Penney store is winning some Racked reader raves: "I've never been shopping in a pristine department store before. It was like something out of a movie." A commenter, though, has other ideas: "This is somewhere about six steps down from Macy*s and one step down from Target."
3) Times Square: Is Microsoft going to open a store in Times Square this fall? Sounds eerily plausible.
