In Greenpoint they're building new auto repair shops, but across the river they're tearing 'em down. Or are they?! EV Grieve has a look at the new seven-story building constructed at 424 East 10th Street. It's the same piece of property that, according to its listing, is "currently a vacant, one story garage on East 10th street between C and D." Twilight Zone! That same listing says the site "has plans for a seven story, 18 unit, residential building" and is "ready to go." Very ready, apparently.
