Yikes, first DKNY got put out to surf and now another noteworthy Houston Street mural is getting whitewashed out of existence. Of course, this Keith Haring tribute was always intended to be a temporary recreation of his 1982 mural on the same corner of Houston and Bowery, and it lasted months longer than expected. Still, we'll miss its Dayglo pop. The Lower East Side got a little less adorable today, friends.
