Curbed PriceSpotter: Checking for a Pulse in Harlem

New, 14 comments

PriceSpotter is Curbed's asking price guessing game. We provide you with some details and pictures from an apartment listing, and you take a crack at the price in the comments. Tomorrow we reveal the answer. And hey, no cheating!

What/Where: Two-family, five-floor (incl. basement) townhouse on West 121st Street near Lenox Avenue
Square Feet: 5,000
Taxes: not listed
The Skinny: Given word of the passing of the Harlem townhouse market, we had to bring the PriceSpotter Express to the lands above 96th Street. But this isn't one of those half-abandoned slapdash renovation jobs. The house is a fully-renovated 20-foot-wide beauty on a pristine block, near (and part of, we think) the Mt. Morris Park Historic District. That yard ain't so bad, either. The rental unit takes up the basement and garden-level floors. So what's the ask?
