East Village residents are meeting tonight to discuss the new era of bars cropping up along upper Avenue A. (According to a resident who helped organize the meeting, "They'll address the overabundance of bars and the noise they cause, what can be done by residents and what is being done." Mmmhmm.) The meeting also inspired the above sign—and the thoughtful, homespun response.
