Curbed PriceSpotter: Old Vs. New in Manhattan Valley

New, 11 comments

PriceSpotter is Curbed's asking price guessing game. We provide you with some details and pictures from an apartment listing, and you take a crack at the price in the comments. Tomorrow we reveal the answer. And hey, no cheating!

What/Where: 2BR, 1BA co-op on West 104th Street (between Broadway/West End)
Square Feet: 900
Maintenance/CC: $976
The Skinny: As a bookend to last week's 900-square-foot Carnegie Hill PriceSpotter, let's jaunt across town to Manhattan Valley, where we espy this bright, top-floor number. (Unlike last week, we're talking elevator, not walk-up.) The flow here moves horizontally past the two bedrooms, into a classic living room, and then into what looks to be a very slick kitchen that also includes a small office space. (Per the listing prose: "Designed by award winning architects and featured in design and architectural publications this is a rare opportunity to own an incredible mix of pre-war and contemporary design.") We're kind of digging that duality, but will buyers? And at what price? To the comments!
