So how many units in the Apthorp are spoken for? Last week, it was 17 in contract out of the needed 25 by the September 15 deadline. Now, according to the Times (via recently-on-board superbroker Dolly Lenz), it's only 11, with "eight or nine" in the works. All but one buyer have gone for the cheaper, "as-is" apartment option (versus the renovated and restored units; both types seen here), leading the developers to consider going that route for the rest of the building.
