On the Racked: Housing Works' New Home, Chelsea Sex Mob

The latest from Racked, covering shopping and retail from the sidewalks up.

1) Tribeca: After moving from Chelsea down to Tribeca, high-end thrift store Housing Works was soon forced to seek out a larger space in the 'hood. They've found it on Chambers Street, and the new store (above) is looking quite snazzy.

2) Chelsea: Madness descends on the Metropolitan Pavilion today. Not only are Sex And The City wannabes lined up for an open casting call, but designer Alexander McQueen is also conducting his epic first sample sale in the event space. You have been warned.

3) Hamptons: The 12th Super Saturday cancer research fundraiser took over the beach over the weekend, raising $3.4 million through the sale of donated fashions from fancypants designers. The celeb saturation ratio was astounding.
