Tribeca's Stinkiest Strikes Again

New, 5 comments

The "odor migration" issues at superexpensive newish Tribeca condo building 200 Chambers Street once caused management to apologize to residents for the meat sweats wafting up from the in-building steakhouse, but it appears the problems weren't fixed. A family is suing their neighbor over secondhand smoke, demanding that he quit lighting up and, oh yeah, asking for $25,000 in damages. The family claims their 3 ½ year old daughter developed respiratory problems, and the smoke once forced them to sleep in the residents' lounge. They tried to get the board to ban smoking in the building until odor issue was fixed, to no avail. [Brick Underground; previously]
