It's a little tough to make out in the photo, but Shigeru Ban's addition to West Chelsea's Starchitect Row is finally getting its heavy metal. OK, so it's a lot tough to make out, but there are two metal shutters up there, we swear. Look folks, we've been waiting on the Bodega Building to do its thing for two years now, so pardon us if we get a little foamy at the mouth. Condos in the open-and-shut West 19th Street building, sandwiched between Frank Gehry's IAC Building and Annabelle Selldorf's 520 West Chelsea, are all spoken for. Of course, those contracts were signed in a different world, so we'll see who shows up when the Metal is ready to rock.
