Yesterday, Curbed returned to the World Trade Center site at the invitation of the Port Authority to have a look at the progress on the western side of the site—that is, the memorial, transit hub, and the rising One World Trade Center. Result: the above photogallery of the work in progress, which, though still hidden mostly from the eye at street-level, is complex beyond imagination below grade.
