The Department of Buildings is cracking down on an innocent little violin repair shop operating out of a Morningside Heights building because the business doesn't adhere to the block's residential zoning. Cue the bullying-the-little-guy outrage, but supposedly a tenant in the building called in the complaint because of a feud with the building's landlord. The DOB inspected, and now must demand that the music be silenced. This should make for some fun lobby run-ins. [NYT]
