Union Square Braces for Flair

New, 12 comments

Don't fear T.G.I. Friday's, Union Square purists: The original location was the nightlife capital of the Upper East Side?in the swinging '60s! The history of the now-ubiquitous suburban potato skin depository gets traced by the Post, and while the chain has come a long way from its slutty-stewardess roots at 63rd Street and First Avenue, the 2nd Ave. Deli became a Chase bank and CBGB now sells premium denim so, really, does anyone care?
